Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, also known as Fazza, is the Crown Prince of Dubai and the Chairman of Dubai Executive Council. He is the second son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai. Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum was born on November 14, 1982, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is the second son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum. From a young age, Hamdan was interested in sports, culture and education. He excelled in his studies and completed his secondary education at Dubai’s Rashid School for Boys. He then went on to study at the Bell Educational Trust, Cambridge, England and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.
Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum has always been a great supporter of sports, culture and education. He has taken an active role in promoting these areas in the UAE, and has been involved in many initiatives and projects to support them. He is the patron of the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority. He is also the founder of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center, which works to preserve the traditional heritage and culture of the UAE.
